James Dupre is another example of successfully using internet marketing and pure talent for exposure to a wider base which wouldn’t have happened with the old school “record label” route. In fact, this is the future of music where record labels are irrelevant and much of what labels provide will be handled personally, possibly with funds from sponsors and advertisers.
